Counter-Notification Procedure

If your content was removed in error, you are legally entitled to submit a counter-notification. Your notice must include the following:

  • A description of the material that was removed and its former location on the platform.
  • Your full legal name, street address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake.
  • A statement that you consent to legal jurisdiction in your U.S. district court (or any district if you’re outside the U.S.) and accept legal documents from the party who submitted the original notice.
  • Your physical or digital signature.

Once we forward your counter-notice to the complainant, they have a limited time (usually 10–14 days) to file a legal action. If no action is taken, the removed material may be restored.
